Data Gathering for Warehouses

Dimension anything, anywhere in seconds.

Turn a mobile device into a warehouse dimensioner. Build clean SKU master data at inbound, and stop overpaying carriers on your outbound pallets.

Accurate dimensions pay off at both ends of the warehouse

At inbound
Capture clean SKU master data
Measure each SKU or box the moment it lands at intake.
  • Less shipping air
  • Smarter slotting, faster picking
  • Fewer errors downstream
At outbound
Stop paying oversize surcharges
Stop losing profit to unexpected carrier adjustments.
  • No W&I surcharge
  • Freight cost matches the invoice
  • The right rate, the first time
Mobile Dimensioning

What is mobile dimensioning?

Mobile dimensioning turns the device in your hand into a dimensioner. Point it at a box or pallet and capture size, weight and a photo in seconds. No fixed station, no tape.

  • Measure anywhere on the floor
  • Dimensions, weight and a photo in one scan
  • Clean master data straight into your WMS

How much are oversize surcharges costing you?

Enter your volume and see what accurate, proof-backed measurements would save.

% of shipments that come back corrected. Industry average: 4 to 6%. At your volume: 75 bills per month.

Count last month's corrected invoices, or take a quarterly average.

How we calculate this

Cost per corrected bill = correction fee + average re-rate overcharge + your dispute time. Annual cost = corrected bills per month x 12 x cost per bill. Saving = 80 to 95% of that cost, the reduction shippers report after switching to certified dimensioning.

Defaults use published 2025 to 2026 US carrier tariffs, a $145 average overcharge per corrected shipment and a 4 to 6% correction rate from freight-audit data.

FAQ

Questions?

How much does Flux cost?

Flux has a free trial. When you’re ready to scale, pricing is based on usage. Whether you’re scanning a handful of items per day or thousands per week, there’s a plan to fit your operations.

Do I need a specific device to use Flux?

No, Flux works on any iOS or Android device. However, to use the dimensioning module you need a LiDAR or ToF compatible device such as iPhone 13 Pro+, iPad Pro 2020+, or Zebra TC53/58.

Is Flux a mobile app?

Flux has two parts: a mobile app for scanning and data capture, and a web app for managing scans, creating flows, managing users, and sharing reports.

Can I create and customize different data capture flows?

Yes, your team can create different data capture flows. You can build and edit flows for various processes, including, but not limited to, cargo inspections, return logistics, or inbound receiving. Connect different modules based on your processes: from simple data capture to advanced AI modules.

Can Flux integrate with my current system?

Yes, Flux can connect with your existing WMS, TMS, OMS, and ERP systems. You can start using it without any integration.

Can I manage users and different data capture flow access within Flux?

Yes, in Flux you can set user roles, permissions, and access. Track devices across warehouses. Organize your flows and data per location.

Does Flux work offline?

Yes, Flux works offline. Data can be captured offline and will sync automatically once the device reconnects to the internet.

What is a data capture flow in Flux?

A data capture flow is a step-by-step process you design in Flux to guide how information is collected. Each flow can include multiple modules like barcode scan, text extraction, photo capture, mobile dimensioning, or filling in custom fields. Flows ensure teams follow the same sequence, capture the right data every time, and automatically generate structured records that can be shared or sent to your WMS, TMS, or ERP.
